about

Samanvaya is Sanskrit for “harmony” or "mutual or immediate connection". Whether you take it to mean our musical harmony or the connection we make with our amazing audiences, samanvaya conveys an honouring of the interconnectedness of all things.
The mantras we sing are from two different traditions - Bhakti Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism - and are in two different languages - Sanskrit and Pali. We hope you’ll sing along, no matter your background, and experience the heart-opening and elevating power of mantra.

We'd like to thank all our supporters, friends and families. Malika wishes to extend her gratitude to Lama Losang Samten and the Tibetan Buddhist sangha of Saskatoon. Padmashri honors her dear guru, Manorama, and the Luminous Soul community. Prosad offers his thanks to his mom, his inner music guru, Maestro Tulshi Sen, and his sitar teacher Alam Khan.

Although they come from different backgrounds, as soon as they met a beautiful collaboration as a kirtan band came to be. Together their music will move you to tears, inspire you to get up and dance, and maybe even open your heart to Love. ... more
